Full Version: Liam Patterson
Ste the killer
Football Club United of Bury have unveiled their latest capture on the eve of the new season. Liam Patterson this afternoon penned a two year deal with the Bury based club having passed his medical this morning (Five sit ups, five press ups, five keepy ups and a lap of Giggle lane).

Patterson caught the eye of FC United scouts whilst playing on trial for Unibond Premier league giants Bradford Park Avenue during their recent tour of Spain.

Patterson is said to be thrilled with the move, quote "I would have gladly signed for Avenue but first team appearances would have been a major issue as they have the best forwards in the league" He added "Karl (FC United manager) sold me the club really. He explained how desperate they were for fire power having been robbed of their own and that sort of did for me"

FC United manager Karl Marginson is delighted with his latest signing, quote "The lad scores goals for fun which he proved in Spain and hopefully he can score the goals which will keep us up this year" He went on "If he can score a hat-trick in Spain then surly he can score a hat-trick in Matlock and get us of to a flying start"
