the scratch isn't me, by the way. i don't do rebranding.
"fuck off." eh? that's exactly the sort of response i'd expect from you, mr blackburn.
did you not think to google the names of the teams? i mean, a quick search for 'sotogrande football' brings up loads of pages about, errr, golf.
still, the truth is out now, and i understand why you're angry with me. no one likes being made to look stupid.
and grey areas? give me a break. they weren't grey areas. they were lies.
(you forgot to mention stefan brookster as a 'grey area') |
and we`re even on the bill boards outside the newsagents !!!!
I don't think that's really something to brag about considering WHY we are on the billboards.

So there we have it a jobless manc with a grudge based on us signing their 2 best players. that just about says it all.

man, you're good. i can see why you named yourself after one of history's great thinkers.
to clear something up though. you signed our best player, rory 'liam' patterson. but we released stuart rudd, as he didn't figure in our first team plans. our next best player, who bob tried to sign (if he can be believed) is jerome wright. he turned you down and signed on with us for another year.
still, where's the grudge? i'm a loving hippy at heart. i'll even buy you a pie and a pint out of my giro when we're at your gaff. peace and love, brother soccerates.

It gives me no pleasure to say that you are not the first, and certainly not the last club to be taken over by some money grabbing shark, that! in a nutshell is what Bob Blackburn is,and you lot can't see the wood for the trees that he has put in front of you.
This type of corrupt Bastard is only in it for the money..... and that usually means selling your existing ground for housing with a promise of a new multi million ground elsewhere........ with new housing around it,,,,,, he is a house builder for christs sake and thats what they do.
Get real!, with your small crowds do you really think for one minute you are going to get a 20k stadium and the success that goes with it.
Well!! only the thoughtful will see beyond his obvious money making ways.

I DONT AGREE WITH WHAT THE GENERAL AND HIS BOARD??????HAVE DONE WITH THIS SPAIN TRIP ,OR IN FACT THE WAY THEY ARE HANDLING IT AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN SUSSED OUT,A SIMPLEE APOLOGY WOULD GO A LONG WAY,BUT THAT WONT BE COMING.
BUT COME ON WHERE WERE WE GOING BEFORE BOB TOOK OVER,WE HAVE SECURED PROMOTION,GOT PROBABLY OUR STRONGEST SQUAD FOR QUITE SOME TIME,AND A NEW GROUND IN THE PIPELINE,THINGS HAVE GOT OUT OF HAND WITH WHAT WAS A SILLY AND CHILDISH PRANK,WHICH AT THIS LEVEL WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE FOUND OUT FOR WHAT IT WAS.
RED CAT.........HORSFALL IS OWNED BY THE COUNCIL AND IS IN TRUST FOR SPORTS USE ONLY,SO YOUR ARGUMENT AS TO WHY BOB IS IN IT DOESNT STAND UP,BOB HAS PURCHASED LAND AWAY FROM HORSFALL TO BUILD US A STADIUM,AND I FOR ONE HAVE FAITH IN HIM TO DO JUST THAT,AND I DONT CARE IF HE PUTS A HOUSE OR TWO THERE EITHER{BUT AGAIN THE LAND IS SPORTS USE,SO I DONT THINK THAT ARE HIS INTENTIONS ANYWAY}BOB ,IF YOU TALK TO HIM IN PERSON IS PASSIONATE ABOUT BPA,HIS WAY OF DOING THINGS MAY NOT BE THE NORMAL WAY, BUT HE DOES WHAT HE SAYS HE IS GOING TO DO,AND AS I SAID IN ANOTHER POST,I JUST THINK THIS SPAIN MULLARKEY STEMS FROM HIS PROMISE TO HAVE A TOUR OF SPAIN PRE SEASON,GOING PEAR SHAPE BECAUSE OF SQUAD COMINGS AND GOINGS,ETC,AND RATHER THAN JUST TAKING WHO WAS AVAILABLE ON THEIR JOLLIES KEPT UP THE FARCICLE STORY AND IT SNOWBALLED,THE ONLY FAULT I CAN SEE IS THAT BOB DIDNT WANT TO SHOW HE HAD FAILED TO DELIVER ON THE DEAL,COME ON BOB,PLEASE JUST APOLOGISE THE FANS WILL FORGIVE YOU IM SURE
Ok John as seen as you are one of the few who talk sence on here, i am very sorry onbehalf of myself, kev and JD for letting this what started out as a prank about RP and the Hatrick in Spain, as stated earlier the games were played against teams stated albeit lower standard than we were led to believe, as for the hand full of supporters who have taken this episode into orbit, that is their decision and i can do no more with that, as for the others then if you trust and believe in me and other Board members then actions speak louder than words.... and further more can a line now be drawn under this matter and turning our attention to winning the league....
I am not in this for the money nor ever have been nor never will be, i personally donated circa £10k a month to fund BPA with donations from kev and JD aswell and will be giving BPA even more this season to fund another promotion fight and again the year after... one thing i will guarantee is that i will bring success to this club and i will get them back into football league status as previously mentioned despite all the mocking and piss-taking this fuels my determination even more and anyone who knows me, knows i play hardball and will fight tooth and nail to achieve what i say, i will do... as for the ones who will never believe a word both me and the board say, then again that is your human right but i will prove you wrong aswell...
RE: the Phoenix Park Site, this was a commercial move i took with the purchase to ensure BPA have no one to answer to and our future success is in our own hands and not hampered by red tape, we looked at the purchase of Horsfall but this would be a long slog, we looked at going back to Little Horton, this again would have been too expensive, we looked at the Odsal Sporting Village and that was nor ever will be a non starter as latest press have proved.
So i went out and found this was the perfect site... after 2 meeting with LCC and Metro Rail for sighting a new station on there things turned out better than expected... and again despite all the pisstakers, this makes me even more determined and another thing i will guarantee BPA WILL BE PLAYING ON THERE INSIDE THE NEXT TWO YEAR....
On a final note, i am personally sorry for any upset caused...
Yours Bob

All clubs have a % of idiots in them, unfortunately for them as FCUM have quite a few fans they're quite simply going to have more people turning up to matches and acting like idiots than most. However, fortunately for them they don't have a chairman acting like an idiot... Bob Blackburn can't be too stupid if he's a multi-millionaire but posting in such a brash way on a fans' forum? Plans for a 20k seater stadium for a club that very rarely breaks 1k people through the gate? League football in 4/5 years or whatever it is? A faked tour to Spain?
Jesus. Bloody. Christ. As another Boston fan I was chatting too the other day said "it makes Boston United look like a tea party!"

Yes, he's doubled the gates, improved all the facilities, won the league, spend's 10K a week on the club of his own money, we have a thriving youth section at the club.
The club's in the guardian, people now know we are back in business - what an idiot !
Good job your CEO is no fool ehh, i mean you wouldn't want Bob running your club.
We'll give you a wave as we pass you
PS - Won a boat load of cash backing your lot to win the league the other year, thanks.
PPS - think Eastwood Town will be a team to watch this year

No. I wouldn't.
Steve Evans doubled our gates, won us two leagues and most of his fellow cronies claimed to have remortgaged their houses to invest money in to the club. And no Boston fan who took an interest in much beyond the pitch wanted him running the club.

No it doesn't Adam. Get a grip.
5 years of brown envelopes, cheating the taxman, cheating the Football League and the Conference, the manager shooting his mouth off every week, investigatons, criminal proceedings, convictions, huge unpaid debts, CVAs made during football matches.....
I would think Boston supporters are pleased that another club is in the spotlight for a change.
But let's not get into a debate about about the moral equivalency between what the officers of your club have done - and someone stupidly telling the press a guy scored a hat trick when he didn't.
