Bus 464: from Accrington/Bacup/Rochdale to Waterfoot then walk up the hill, turning left into footpath.
RETURN 17:20* BUS 464 change at Bacup for 17:55 BUS to Todmorden

Local Bus 482/483 runs Rawtenstall-Waterfoot via ground

Best to get a train to either Manchester or Burnley and then catch the X43 Witchway Bus to Rawtenstall. Local bus or taxi from there, the mile or so up to Dark Lane.
Search Witchway on google to get bus timetables and stops.

Which is the nearest train station to the ground? Tried looking on the net and can't find anything close! Blackburn Station is the closest and thats 12 miles away!

There isn't a National Rail station nearby.

(1) The local bus 482/483 runs from Rawtenstall to ground
To get to Rawtenstall either:
X43 from Burnley
Steam train from Bury *
Steam train from Heywood *
X43 from Manchester via Bury

* - no return

(2) Can easily walk from Waterfoot (or 482/483)
To get to waterfoot ether:
464 from Accrington
464 from Bacup (BUS link to/from Todmorden)
464 from Rochdale
