When we have our MOM awards in social club and such, why not give out the other results in our division, all it would take is a phone call to the unibond league. Against Garforth we knew one other result and even that needed some confirmation. Maybe if people knew we were giving out other results they would stay a bit longer so they could hear them.

There used to be a board up at Park Avenue in the old days with A,B,C,D,E,F,G etc on it and the scores were put up underneath. The letters reffered to a list of games on the programme that were being played on the same day, so if you wanted to know the scores at other grounds you just looked up the respective letter in the programme.
Does anyone else remember this?

half time scores were put up usually just as the 2nd half was starting, but with better communications now, scores are announced over the tannoy or on the electronic score boards at league grounds today, but it would be a good idea to have a retro scoreboard ABCDE etc just for scores relevant to BPA, all it would take is a dozen phone calls or so at half time and a person to update the scoreboard, and at full time announce the results at the MOM presentation.
good idea Christian,
THE HALF TIME SCOREBOARD CAN BE SEEN IN PICTURE 6 0F 8 AT THE CANTERBURY END

They dont even need to make a phone call, everything can be found on Sky Sports online.Thats how I knew about last nights result right up until the last minute plus it gives all the league standings as the games progress.Surely Bob or Kev have access to the internet at our ground?? Does anyone know?
