Hi-------A suggestion to the General or Gary Broadhead,I seriously think a competition could be organised between local school or junior football teams in the area to have a 5 a side tournament played before all scheduled saturday home fixtures,8 teams playing each other twice and then a playoff between the top 2,even a cup ko could be arranged also.
This event if organised properly and given serious attention by the clubs junior coaches could benefit avenue both with increased gates due to parents, family and friends watching{with 4 teams playing each home game, consisting of 7 players}potentially upwards of 50 paying customers per game, the players themselves at u11 level would be very impressionable, and a good experience would leave avenue firmly in their hearts---another 50+potential lifelong supporters, with the eyes of the junior coaches officiating, observing etc,im sure at least 1 player could be something special.

I agree, I wouldnt mind my Womens team playing before the game either.
Its only since I have been nagging Kev that I have managed to get something about the Park Ave womens team in the match programme on bank holiday and also something on the official website.

People would really enjoy watching the women and we get a good number of followers that would gladly stay and watch the first team.

I bet most of you on here didnt even realise we had a womens team lol

Apart from the first team we only ever get to hear about the reserves and the U19's. How are we supposed to know anything about the other teams and when they play if info is not available on the website/forums or in the programme.

It's great to see you have managed to get something in the programme and on the website. Maybe we could get a permanent section for the womens team on the website.
